The MENA Recruiting team is seeking a talented results-oriented Technical Recruiter with a passion for delighting the client and candidates to join our recruiting organization.

You will work with a close-knit recruiting team. Your focus will be on driving staffing strategies along with candidate generation and closing of candidates in partnership with your clients and recruiting colleagues. As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner with the business teams to execute against our hiring goals for a dynamic, growing business.

Successful recruiters on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking against metrics, and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun getting the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.

They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, and organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Core Responsibilities

  • Business partnering with Hiring managers, being their go-to for all recruiting-related matters.
  • Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires
  • Taking a headhunting approach to recruitment to source and select top talent from across the globe,
  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Develop and maintain accurate recruiting data/reports acting as an owner of your respective BU, providing metrics to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the post-interview debrief meetings and providing debrief materials
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Participate in recruiting events such as job fairs, Campus hiring, and community events to build the Amazon name in-country
  • Work with the business, HR, and Compensation to determine appropriate salary ranges and negotiate compensation with candidates.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Technical recruiting experience within a Corporate and or search firm including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting, including 4+ years in program management and /or talent consulting.
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • Possess strong analytic skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member of a virtual team.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience working in a medium to high volume, high hiring bar environment recruiting/sourcing for technical talent (Software Development Engineers, Senior Software Development Engineers, Architect, Principal Engineer, Software Development Manager, Head of Engineering, CTO, ML engineers, Scientists )
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • A demonstrated passion for recruiting and providing amazing customer service
  • Attention to detail with exceptional analytical and process management skills
  • Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations
  • Strong full life cycle recruiting skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates
