About the Role:

Responsible to work with the PMS Lead to design, develop, implement, monitor and measure performance at GMG, across areas & business of operations. The role will also include communication of employee programs, administering learning initiatives in collaboration with the learning team, active liasoning of with employees, business managers, external partners in developing various talent solutions and further play active role in the building & administering succession plans.

He/ She should be able to play an active role in advising the Senior Management on the policies and procedures necessary to advance individual performance in alignment with business objectives of the Company and aligned with the Global requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide active support / lead few tracks for developing and implementing a comprehensive performance management strategy across all business lines and in line with GMG’s objectives and growth strategies.


  • Benchmark locally, regionally, and globally on the best practices in performance management and update the processes and policies accordingly.
  • Active & continuous participation with hiring team, HR business partners and business managers to benchmark health of various offerings to ensure organizations capability towards attracting, selecting and retaining high-potential employees remains intact & competitive.


  • Play an active role along with PMS lead in reinforcing the Performance agenda in the organization – support in providing strategic advice and guidance on the performance management framework to all stakeholders.
  • Work with various stakeholders to promote the high performance and feedback culture.


  • Plan and execute all the milestones in the performance management cycle. Develop and update guidelines around the performance milestones and the annual appraisal process.
  • Contribute / Should be able to lead to the automation of the Performance Management System in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.
  • Play an active role in developing various communications and interactions with the external teams and manage the internal communication plan for all related matters in the performance cycle.
  • Develop and deliver content related to performance management, employee development and or any area in the talent management cycle.
  • Develop and run multiple survey (pulse, temperature check, people survey) across the organization.
  • Provide support to line managers in applying the Performance Management System should they face challenges with the implementation. Resolve problems related to appraisals, such as employee requests for re-evaluation, and ensure that these issues are handled in a fair, professional, transparent and equitable way.
  • Play an active role in training employees across hierarchies on various engagement and coaching techniques, provide training on levels of performance framework.
  • Provide active support in facilitating conversations and discussions with various stakeholders including senior management staff.

Educational Qualifications And Certificates

  • Post Graduate in Human Resources (MBA)


  • 8 years + experience in IT, BFSI & Retail industry.
  • Age group – 30-35 years


Performance Management, Goal Setting, Annual Appraisal, Talent management, Organization Development, Rewards & Incentives (preferred, not necessary)
