The opportunity

EY is looking for an accountant at a consultant and Senior Consultant level to join the team in Jordan who will be responsible for providing feedback on accounting and bookkeeping matters for several clients. In addition, you will join a young and dynamic team, genuinely passionate about its work, within a leading global professional services firm.

Your key responsibilities

As a consultant, you will be assisting in delivering financial accounting and advisory services to the clients, including preparation of management accounts, sector analysis, internal controls, project monitoring, management reporting, training, accounting support, audit readiness… etc.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar discipline.
• Strong bookkeeping skillset
• Professional certifications will be a must
• Minimum 2 plus years of working experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Excellent working knowledge of accounting procedures
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Bilingual in Arabic and English

 Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good interpersonal skills
• Track record with a leading audit firm
