Job Overview:

Project controls specialist involved in cost analysis, estimate at completion forecasting, preparation of invoices etc. Under close supervision perform routine aspects of cost control. Applies a basic knowledge of Project Controls principles. Performs specific portions of cost control assignments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for setting up and maintaining communication with the disciplines in the Project team with the purpose of collecting as well as supplying information about the duties assigned to him/her.
• Assists the cost team in setting up internal and external cost reporting, forecasting and change management systems.
• The goal is to provide the best information to project management for timely decision-making and corrective action.
• Be able to prepare cost / quantity analysis, setting-up and maintaining a change management system.
• Be able to work on multiple projects as required.Graduate with necessary experience.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• 7 years of experience in project controls functions (cost and budgeting).
• Experience in Oil and Gas sector is preferable.
• Finance / Accounting degree
• Good communication skills and cost/planning software knowledge is preferable (Ecosys, Primavera)
