Your day to day As the Director Strategic Planner you will lead the team for InterContinental Hotel and Resort. Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop and set revenue sales strategies for the Resort to maximise performance, drive RGI improvements, profitability and return on investment by directing sales activity and total revenue generation. You will ensure plans are implemented, results are monitored and sales goals through the regular sale of resort rooms, meeting rooms and food, beverage outlets, and the SPA. In this role you will also play an integral part in creating a positive and productive work environment; building, motivating, developing and leading an effective team that is highly engaged and delivers results The ideal candidate will have experience both in hospitality, leadership and working in a large complex hotel with multiple revenue streams. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have strong financial, analytical and business acumen partnered with and understanding of industry dynamics and trends.

What we need from you Ideally, you’ll have

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent International degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or Commerce
  • 4 years of relevant experience in a leading Director of Sales, Marketing & Reservation role
  • Coupled with experience in International strategic sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral proficiency in English
  • Presentation skills.
  • Experience in rooms and C&E revenue management preferred
