Job Description

Responsible for maintenance and inspection of buildings/facility safety, security, and emergency services, monitoring the work schedules for facility services staff as well as conducting surveys & identifying loss or damages to facility.

Skill Requirements

• NCVT Certified ITI in Air conditioning & Refrigeration/ Electrical with 10 to 15 years relevant experience
• Good verbal communication/interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Health and Safety Regulations
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to priorities and delegate
• English (written and spoken) and moderate Arabic language skills
• 10- 15 years p revious supprvisory experience in facility management with good electromechanical troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Investigates and responds accordingly to any faults, breakdowns to facility equipment and assign contractor if required and oversee the work done.
• Arranges for planned preventive and general maintenance of facility equipment, fixtures, and fittings as necessary.
• Assists the VP- Facilities Management to manage and monitor the effectiveness of service level agreements between FM, contractors, and customers.
• Assists VP- Facilities Management in the procurement by assuring best prices in consumables and non-consumable items, spare parts, and inventory management.
• To supervise the Facilities Management Team including contracted security and cleaning personnel, ensuring that they are clear about expected standards of performance in terms of attendance, work schedule and adhering to specifications, motivate and develop to provide professional FM services.
• Provides a comprehensive schedule for the cleaning with tasks to be attended on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
• Assures quality and ensuring enough stock of the cleaning material.
• Updates checklist and ensuring adherence to the same.
• Supervises the entire operation of security services inclusive of inspection, access control and loss prevention.
• Assures the required security details for the projects and their belongings, controlling the in and out movement of the people and vehicles on day-to-day basis, and reporting any kind of accident that may happen on site.
• Secures and ensures the protection of the facility individuals, property, and assets.
• Supervises the delivery services and ensuring that it is carried out in an entirely professional manner, meeting with the highest international standards of security.
• Ensures that all guarding duties are performed to the highest of standards, with regular un-announced visits to the guarding locations and control rooms.
• Reports any suspicious activities noted in the facility and coordinate with the security team until resolved.
• Supervises the job completion, ensure the quality, and oversee the general operations of all subcontractors and tenant fit out contractors.
• Assists the VP- Facilities Management for managing the daily operations
