Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading Waste Management Company in UAE. Our client is looking to hire an Marketing & PR Officer who will be responsible for the development and implementation of Education & Awareness initiatives, educating and increasing the awareness, among the public, about the effective ways of waste management and effects of wrong disposal.

• Develop and Implement the Public education programs and Awareness initiatives on the Waste Management Programs.
• Plan, arrange and execute the pre-commencement promotion event for any new services / initiatives, in such a way as may be directed by the client
• Plan & Conduct education, community awareness and promotion programs relating to how the public activities and behaviours impact on the provision of our services.
• Develop and Implement Awareness Campaigns such as informing the public on the role of Waste Transfer Facilities and on the type of waste received and how it’s been treated.
• Conducts Surveys / Audits before and after completion of every such campaign to evaluate the public perception.
• Communicate with the public and students to increase the awareness about the waste and effects of wrong disposal and how to be environmentally friendly.
• Conduct Informational Programs at schools, colleges, and other institutions to create awareness on keeping society clean and methods of waste disposal.
• Create advertisement and promotions.
• Create Brochures & Flyers with high quality content delivering the required information.
• Consult with client & advertising agencies to arrange media campaigns for awareness programs.
• Support in all communication activities for the project including media relations, social media campaigns, sponsorships, and events etc., that are related to the scope of our services.
• Plan and execute customer / public satisfaction surveys.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in Environmental studies)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in waste public education and awareness programs with international experience.
• Must be bilingual – English & Arabic.
• Certification / Diploma in office customer service will be an added advantage Knowledge & Skills
• Waste Management & Recycling knowledge
