Job Descriptions:

  • Evaluate target demographics, appropriate distribution channels, and marketing channels.
  • Analyze marketing metrics to gauge and identify cause and effect relationships
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop appropriate strategies
  • Use information from statistics, marketing experts, and other industry professionals to conduct secondary research
  • Become familiar with research methodologies, including standard computer programs, and increase understanding of advanced statistical analysis
  • Meet with clients regularly to determine marketing and promotional goals

Social Media Skills:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define social media KPIs
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
  • Attend educational conferences
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network


  • 3 – 5 years of experience as a Social Media or Marketing Specialist
  • Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; higher education field preferred
  • Two to three year’s experience in the same field
  • Proficiency in working with personal computers, related hardware/software, webpage maintenance, and development.
  • Experience with database development and management.
  • Experience designing and presenting career resources, workshops, and other career-related services
