Job Descriptions:
- Evaluate target demographics, appropriate distribution channels, and marketing channels.
- Analyze marketing metrics to gauge and identify cause and effect relationships
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop appropriate strategies
- Use information from statistics, marketing experts, and other industry professionals to conduct secondary research
- Become familiar with research methodologies, including standard computer programs, and increase understanding of advanced statistical analysis
- Meet with clients regularly to determine marketing and promotional goals
Social Media Skills:
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Define social media KPIs
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
- Attend educational conferences
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Requirement:
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a Social Media or Marketing Specialist
- Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree required; higher education field preferred
- Two to three year’s experience in the same field
- Proficiency in working with personal computers, related hardware/software, webpage maintenance, and development.
- Experience with database development and management.
- Experience designing and presenting career resources, workshops, and other career-related services
