About This Opportunity

We are now looking for a vendor/supplier manager to run services domain (Operation and maintenance) to cover all field operations in the Middle East, GCC and Africa region (MMEA).

As ASP (Authorized Service Provider) Manager or vendor manager, you will assure best value at the procurement of (A)SP services in accordance to related scope. You will have all needed information on supplier base in field maintenance operations and will act on supplier performance issues. You will drive the Statement of Work (SoW) and Price models. You will be a part of supplier evaluation, selection, and important metric requirements. You will build and drive (A)SP forecasting and (A)SP Operational Governance Framework. You will monitor the correct contractual prices per agreed scope with the suppliers and conduct regular spending analysis. You will work with EHS team to ensure health and safety (OHS) compliance of supplier. You will liaison with the operation and delivery teams to organize and coordinate ASP/vendor work activities.

What You Will Do

  • Handling of operation requests for new 3PP services/material
  • Validate and ensure the clear scope of work for all 3PP service/material
  • Participate in tender technical negotiation and delivery models
  • Perform and drive the technical evaluation for candidate suppliers
  • Apply field services delivery process and models for third-party management.
  • Secure the necessary capacity & Competence Based on the Project forecast & the ASP demand.
  • Ensure that ASPs have all required licenses, specific tools, permits and certification before commencement of project.
  • Establish ASP Operational external and Internal Governance with regular meeting to follow-up ASP performance KPIs.
  • Responsible for ASP metrics and scoring on quarterly basis
  • Standardization with MMEA MS ASP management and related documentation
  • Track the onboarding of (A)SPs
  • Handling and controlling (A)SP quality and budget
  • Propose cost-saving methods for ASP delivery mechanism and resources re-dimensioning
  • Plan and maintain quality assurance performance in OHS (Health & Safety)
  • Corrective action plan development and tracking

You will bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree of Engineering as minimum
  • Min years of experience: 5 years
  • Technical experience: at least 3 years in telecom and/or electromechanical field services (power and generator for mobile telecommunication infrastructure)
  • Domain experience: Managed Services field operation
  • Acceptable financial acuity and negotiation skills
  • Experience of service delivery processes, models, and strategy
  • You possess OHS knowledge and skills
  • Support with building and formulating strategies and concepts
