The Risk Reporting Analyst (C10 level) will manage reporting for Card/Loans/MSBF portfolios operating in the following geography: UAE and Bahrain; accounting for $1.4Bln in receivables.

The incumbent will be part of the Consumer Risk management team and will develop, enhance and execute of Internal/Regional reports.

Credit MIS reporting is used across Citigroup to monitor and evaluate portfolio risk performance and fulfils its regulatory reporting requirements.

The incumbent will ensure the production of all regular data and reporting feeds in an accurate and timely manner.

The incumbent will be required to proactively design, develop and enhance reporting data feeds along with coordinating with the regional and global reporting team.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that any reports or data feeds comply with Global Consumer Credit and Fraud Risk Policy and local and regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will partner with colleagues within local risk team and evaluate portfolio risk performance and perform business analysis to respond to regulatory requirements and provide portfolio insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and maintain reliable, fast and meaningful MIS. Ensure all MIS submission deadlines are met.
  • BAU MIS and Monthly decks to retail policy team for performance tracking
  • Analytical Support to Credit Risk, Initiation & Collections & Operations.
  • Up-to-date monitoring/trackers are available for stakeholders to assess the most recent portfolio actions / performance for UAE and BAH
  • Support global reporting team by producing monthly feeds and investigate / resolve identified data quality issues.
  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
  • Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
  • Assists in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
  • Performs reserves and provisioning for the aligned business
  • Consolidates and reports credit data, review reports and indicator templates for Risk Management to Citi Risk Regional with timely and accurate reporting
  • Performs reconciliation on reporting data between Risk Management and Finance Reports credit data on restructured programs of Consumer Banking for US Regulatory bodies manages unit’s control tracking
  • Performs self assessment testing when required; change, execute and revalidate changes on reporting requirements from regional, global or any regulatory bodies
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in Statistics, Mathematics, MIS or any related field
  • SAS Programming knowledge is required at least 3 years
  • Diligent, good working attitude and an aptitude for numbers is a must
  • Proactive, driven, team player, ability to work with stress and attention to details is highly required
  • Experience in working in similar environment would be an added advantage
  • At least 3 years work experience in Risk Management or related control discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to aggregate in a stable, robust and structured manner data sourced from different platform. Big data oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability in automated MIS report production from regional DWH.
  • Good understanding of risk management and business strategies/actions. Ability to develop and perform analysis that addresses concerns and issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Macros, Pivots, complex formulas
  • Ability to manage self and projects effectively in a high pressure organization with multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent ability to develop partnerships across multiple business and functional areas.
  • Proficient in SQL ,SAS -Requires 3 years of experience in SAS MIS production or other reporting tools.
  • The position requires exceptional work ethics, solid communication skills, and ability to multitask and work against deadlines.
  • Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas
