Siemens Large Drives Applications (LDA) engineers and produces heavy-duty electrical drive systems for medium and high voltage ranges: electrical motors, converters, and generators. Additionally, we offer special large drives for ships, mines and rolling mills. Our digitalization expertise and outstanding service keeps the performance and availability of your drives always at the maximum.

Join our Large Drives Applications (LDA) Team as the Sales Manager and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Your Role – Challenging And Future-Oriented!

  • Identify & develops market opportunities in order to win new business for Medium Voltage Drives & Motors Product & Systems Business. Maximize market exploitation and transparency
  • Consults with customers on technical solutions, together with Bid Manager. Clarifies customers’ requirements, and/or specification in request for proposal (RFP).
  • Drives the Sales & Services Business by approaching and serving potential customers. Advice customers in capabilities and benefits to integrate Medium Voltage Drives & Motors Product & Systems Portfolio effectively for their applications, as an expert in product & application. Creates respective technical and commercial concepts and offerings in order to support the sales process. Leads the contract negotiations at all stages.
  • Launch of new portfolio elements. Collection and analysis of regional market data & monitor competitor activities in line with compliance guidelines & report the same
  • Budget fulfillment for assigned portfolio/region.
  • Maintains constant communication to customers, partners or other stakeholders.
  • Organize Training Roadmap & Conduct workshops for external partners & customers. Coordinate with local service group to provide suitable support for end users in the region.
  • Focus on Customer Satisfaction, ensuring business success. Manages customer complaints as point of escalation, if necessary. Manages assigned organizational unit(s) and leads and / or coordinates dedicated team and staff.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

  • 10 years plus experience in Drive Application & System Business with End User sector.
  • Min 5 years of Project Management Experience in Drive Systems Business. Creates respective technical and commercial concepts and offerings in order to support the sales process.
  • Education: Holding a B.E. degree in Engineering or related discipline.
