You will be working as Senior Sales Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area Energy Industries (PAEN) Division based in, Kuwait. In this role you will be reporting to Local Sales & Service Manager Kuwait and will be responsible to identify and cultivate defined customers drive the sales process from identified potential to the final sales deal. In addition, he/she will have the responsibility to reach established sales targets through actively meeting and working with customers.

Your responsibilities

  • Achieve profitable order growth in line with Division/Product Group strategy, from designated industry segment every year focusing on automation, electrification, and digital portfolios,
  • by maximizing the penetration to the customer base.
  • Develop and maintain healthy opportunity pipeline in line with the growth plan, Identify and develop of new and potential customers. Establish and maintain high quantity of customer engagement tracked by visit reports and follow through plans
  • Accountable to develop, maintain and manage the sales and account plan
  • Establish long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding their requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products.
  • Accomplish a high level of quality, enhance value for our customers and represent ABB in the future-thinking digital solutions.
  • Key personnel for retaining existing customers and acquiring new customer base
  • Collaborate with the key resources within the organization, identify market potential both from installed base (IB) and new investment, provide cost effective value-based solutions to the customers.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years, of which, minimum 3-5 years in sales leadership position
  • Good knowledge and understanding of automation solutions applicable in energy industries.
  • Experience in Kuwait Market especially with the industries like KOC, KNPC, MEW is preferred
  • Strong customer focus, result-oriented, leadership, service mindset and ability to work across reporting lines.
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully collaborate with others in a boundary less fashion
  • Good communication skills.
