Lead departmental function through inspections, audits, awareness programs and training initiatives therefore ensuring Management Systems are implemented and improved within DP World Jebel Ali.
Guide the overall Development & implementation occupational health & safety and environment improvement plans standards, procedures, specifications, guidelines and rules that are, or become, part of the overall operational policies of business units and the organization.
Mentor and coach management in HSE leadership and staff members in the further development of their skill sets and careers by lead the talent management cycle of HSE team.
To research and review information on new developments and seek out best practices within and outside of the ports industry therefore committing to continuous improvement of the safety and environment functions.
Effectively manage regulatory relationships and coordinate with respective industry associations for safety and environment related issues to improve communication and stay abreast of changes.
Providing timely site input to shape and evolve the regions strategy and submitting the sites data and quality checking for accuracy.
