Senior Specialist – Talent Acquisition

KPMG Professional services is currently seeking to hire an experienced Senior Specialist for a permanent opportunity to work with our Central Services/Infrastructure function.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting needs for assigned coverage areas.
  • Oversee candidate flow for all active and exploratory searches.
  • Partner with hiring managers within coverage areas to identify needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Act as an advisor and liaison between managers and external vendors.
  • Hands on end-to-end recruitment including direct sourcing and candidate management.
  • Conduct recruitment and selection process for approved vacancies of all levels assigned by Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Perform sourcing and mapping to meet current and future talent needs of the business.
  • Ensure an impressive candidate experience at every touch point.
  • Leverage online and in-house recruiting resources.
  • Create and foster relationships with professional organizations to attract and recruit diverse candidates.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, client groups and vendors.
  • Deliver recruitment solutions in line with the firm’s business principles, drive divisional diversity efforts and initiatives.
  • Develop external contacts to stay abreast of new hiring industry practices, market intelligence, benchmarking, and talent opportunities.
  • Evaluate and improve processes and practices throughout recruiting.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and quality-improvement studies with hiring managers and new hires.
  • Manage Recruiting Coordinator(s) and Sourer(s) on day to day activities and projects.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of information on the recruiting database.

Skills & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, major in HR or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting in the “Big Four” Audit Firms preferably.
    • Subject matter expert in recruiting, including, sourcing, qualifying, networking, relationship management, for a broad range of positions.
    • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
    • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a regional, multi-location level.
    • Experience of recruiting and good knowledge of the regional talent pool.
    • Excellent judgement and professional integrity.
    • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills.
    • An eye for detail, and ability to continually recognize opportunities to improve processes.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Credibility to influence at the highest levels within the division and firm management.
    • Working knowledge of relevant Labor and Employment laws.
    • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases.
    • Experience with sophisticated compensation negotiations.
