Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is the operational arm of the PARS and executes its compliance controls with accuracy and efficacy across all Amazon stores.

Key job responsibilities

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

The Amman Site Lead for Compliance Operations manages all product compliance controls for the Amazon MENA stores.

• you define the long-term workforce strategy and strategic direction of the Amman C-Ops team.
• you manage compliance managers, operations managers and process experts.
• you ensure the creation of mechanisms that support the development of skills in your team.
• you create mechanisms to measure, benchmark, and retain talent in your organization.
• you promote a culture of risk mitigation by implementing process improvement mechanisms (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management Institute (PMI) concepts) across your teams.
• you structure efforts to reduce your team’s exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements or goals not sufficiently understood, ineffective team collaboration, error-prone processes, etc.).
• you handle complex escalations and own end-to-end mitigation solutions

A day in the life

Compliance Operations team is looking for a Site Lead for our Amman Operations that will own the end to end operational delivery for compliance programs across Amazon MENA stores. The individual is responsible for strategic planning, resource budgeting, goal setting, operational delivery, process improvement initiatives, and hiring and development of team-members. They identify process excellence opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies and work closely with internal technology teams to build best-in-class workflow solutions. The role reports out of country, to a regional operations leader.

About The Team

Compliance Operations Amman was founded in 2018 and now supports over 30 processes within seven compliance processes that ensure compliance on the Amazon MENA and EU stores.

Basic Qualifications

• proven experience in managing organizations consisting of over 100 individuals in business processes (e.g. shared-service, BPO).
• proven experience in developing and managing managers.
• ability to work at the strategic and tactical level, as the situation demands
• proven experience in developing and implementing large-scale initiatives that improve operations over the long term.
• Expeience in earning the trust of external and internal stakeholders.
• Written and verbal English communication skills (B2 Level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt
• Professional Certifications like PMP, Prince etc.
• SQL skills
